Treatments & Panchakarma
With a focus on prevention and organic healing, Panchakarma is one of the most widely used healing methods for all-round physical, mental and spiritual wellness prescribed under Ayurveda. All treatments are administered by Meiveda's highly qualified doctors and expert therapists, personalised to your health needs.
Full body massage with Ayurvedic oil where the therapist massages your body with their foot while you lie on the floor, followed by a table massage. A deeply therapeutic and unique treatment.
Whole body massage where a mix of rice, herbs and plum filled inside a linen bundle is rubbed over the skin until the body sweats and exudes organic pollutants. Deeply nourishing.
Whole body massage by two therapists simultaneously using special herbal powder. This treatment helps reduce weight, cellulitis and excess Kapha dosha effectively.
The famous forehead oil-pour — warm medicated oil poured in soft movements over the forehead. Profoundly calming for stress, insomnia, migraines and neurological conditions.
Classic whole body massage with warm Ayurvedic oil — the foundational daily Ayurvedic treatment for tissue nourishment, circulation and nervous system restoration.
An oil bath in which two therapists douse the body with warm medicated oil — Kerala's royal treatment for deep musculoskeletal revitalisation and arthritis relief.
Essential herbs and oils bundled into linen sacks and pressed hard against the body. Includes Podikizhi (herbal powder bundles) and Elakizhi (fresh herbal leaves grown in the resort vicinity).
An important Panchakarma therapy administered for specific conditions — medicated oil or herbal decoction enemas that deeply cleanse and nourish the colon and vital tissues.
Pouring of warm herbal decoction in a synchronised manner over the body — for body cooling, relaxation, Pitta pacification and deep detoxification of the skin and tissues.
Application of medicated herbal paste on the scalp (crown area) for insomnia, migraine and headache. Thalapothichil covers the scalp with Indian gooseberry and henna for psychological conditions.
Lepam applies herbal paste on inflamed areas for pain and skin conditions. Snehapanam is whole body purification using medicated clarified butter — a preparatory Panchakarma step.
Nasayam cleans the nose; Tharpanam cleans the eyes; Karnapooranam cleans the ears — all using specialised Ayurvedic drops for sense organ health and clarity.

A total of 20 rooms across three unique categories — from garden-facing villas to sea-facing cottages and the grand Kerala House. All rooms are fitted with colonial-inspired wooden furniture, four-poster beds and glass shower cubicles.
