Harivihar — literally meaning "abode of the divine" — is a 170-year-old painstakingly restored royal heritage homestead and Ayurveda resort situated in Calicut, part of the historic Malabar province. Since its inception in 2003, Harivihar has been welcoming well-heeled international travellers seeking an exclusive royal heritage experience alongside the transformative healing of Ayurveda.
The Government of Kerala has awarded Harivihar the prestigious Green Leaf Accreditation — the highest honour for authentic Ayurveda — in recognition of its exceptional facilities and clinical quality. At Harivihar, guests benefit from Ayurvedic doctors with over 25 years of experience, Allopathic specialist consultants with 30+ years in neurology, pain management and cosmetology, and a Yoga instructor with over four decades of dedicated practice.
Being a homestead, guests are treated as one of the family by hosts Dr. Srikumar and Dr. Neetha Srikumar — a couple of postgraduate doctors who interact with guests daily, assist in planning their time in Calicut, and personally oversee every aspect of the healing journey.

Abhyanga
Full-body synchronised warm herbal oil massage — the foundational Kerala Ayurvedic therapy for tissue nourishment, toxin elimination, circulation, and deep nervous system restoration.
Shirodhara
A continuous stream of warm medicated oil over the forehead — Harivihar's signature treatment for stress, anxiety, migraines, insomnia, and profound mental restoration and calm.
Pizhichil
Warm medicated oil poured continuously while two therapists massage in synchrony — the classical royal treatment for deep neuro-muscular healing, rejuvenation, and strength.
Panchakarma
The classical five-fold purification — Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana — prescribed and supervised by senior Ayurvedic physicians for deep cellular cleansing.
